You are clearly a lovely, sweet girl, but there is NO need to apologise to anyone, it is your life, your hobby, you should just be able to dip in and out without saying a word. Pandering to the demanding and unreasonable people will only make it worse. Anyone that sends you nasty messages surely must be a ridiculous 13 year old girl (though sadly i bet there are a lot of grown women!) who will one day grow up and be totally embarrassed at her actions.
