Patricia Clyne, designer of Helios & Luna debuted her Fall/Winter 2012 collection offsite. She displayed an intriguing mix of bold color blocking and textural combinations to create various silhouettes. Anastasia Fai from STYLE & IMAGE interviewed the designer about inspirations, ideas and seasonal trends to watch out for. According to Patricia, her inspiration was drawn from modern conceptual artist Martin Creed: “This season I went to an art gallery for my inspiration for the new Helios & Luna Collection for Fall 2012. I became obsessed by the paintings of British conceptual modern artist Martin Creed. His graphic bold strokes and colors reflect the spirit of the woman the collection is designed for.” A modern edge is added into the reminiscent of the early 60s throughout the collection, where it was anything but dull with the presence of vibrant hues such as reds, blues, oranges, purples, browns and tans, all too delightful to the eye.
