Believe me its not that MAC foundations are bad or are more prone to making you breakout – its just that so many bloody people try MAC! lol Something worth mentioning – while people have had breakouts from foundations the one foundation that i’ve not heard anyone of my clients ever complain about (re breakouts) is MAC Full Coverage Foundation. Strange as this is a very thick wax like formula – but worth mentioning as its a favorite of mine. The following foundations i’ve mentioned below are the ones that i’ve not had clients complain about re – breakouts. Wayne, I need your help. I think I´ve understood the way MAC names their foundation shades but I still have doubts about what is the right kind for me. When I buy foundation that´s not neutral, do I want to buy one that goes with my undertone (yellow/yellow) or do I buy one that´s “opposite” to try to neutralize my skin color (yellow/pink). I think I have a yellow undertone so I should go for Cs in MAC. Is that right? Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I love your videos and your honesty.

I’ve been on the fence about trying any mac foundations because I’m so easily broken out… but I just may have to try them now :) Do you have any suggestions for skin that is easily broken out on the cheeks/jawline, but is also on the drier side at the same time? Would be much appreciated! Love your videos :)

It’s sad that we can’t trust the products or the staff at counters; they just want to sell even if it destroys our skin :( But I’ve never knew that one could return used make-up products, maybe that only applies in the UK? And I fear the counters, rarely do I get the help I ask for and when they do try to help they are very arrogant and pretty much just shove some product into my hands so I buy it and leave them alone. All of this has made shopping for beauty products a pain rather than pleasure

**however, I decided to go for high end foundations, since you know, I realized I should in the 1st place go for better products for my skin. I’ve been using chanel’s vitalumiere aqua and laura mercier’s silk creme, and my skin has cleared out!!

I’ve always been afraid to try Mac foundations due to my sensitive skin (well that and the fact they can be rather pricey lol). However, after watching this video, I think I might give it a go someday. Definitely go for the tester first. :)

I have issues with their mineralized skinfinish, it breaks me out! But I can wear the Pro Longwear w/o any issues

Hi Mr Goss, LOVE you and your videos, I´m a subbie from Sweden!! I have sensitive skin and when I whent shopping adn decided to look att Maybelline Fit Me Found. and powd….I tried both on my hand but decided to wait. After a while in the shop I noticed my hand was itchy and tender, and OMG my hand was red, swollen, tender as H*LL and full of rashes!! I am SOOO glad I did not buy it and just put in on, my face would have gone crazy. So look out for that!! Xoxo Susanne

I don´t ever break outs, but the other day I pass by a mac counter and I tried out 2 diferent mac foundation.. and I broke out the next day… I would love to use them… but I just can´t

my dermatologist categorically told me MAC was the worst offender when it came to acne-causing products, however he highly recommended MUFE and Bare Escentuals—-so no MAC for me :(

I use a MAC foundation(concealer and powder as well)- Studio Fix Fluid, and I have not had any problems with it, especially as of recently. Recently, I’ve taken to cleansing my face morning and evening, so if I break out, it’s usually not from any makeup that I’m currently using. The foundation has actually been going on much more smoothly since I’ve been giving it a little TLC. I’m loving my current facial cleansing line, it’s been working so well for me, and with me.

I hate foundation because of this. I’ve tried so many and I’ve gotten so many breakouts from trying them out. I just gave up But If I ever even think of getting another one, testers are the way Very good vid. Mac was HORRIBLE for me. The mineralize powders, the blushes, the foundations, the powder foundation they all break me out. But some people use it fine. Its amazing
