I’m a light traveler/packer. I don’t like have a ton of things to keep track of.
For a week trip I’ll usually pack; 7 shirts, 4 jeans, 8-9 pairs of socks, 8-9 underwear, pajamas, a cardigan/light jacket, a heavier jacket/coat, some jewelry tossed in, toiletries, electronics and things to entertain myself with. DONE. Haa.

I roll all of my clothes up, just so that they’re not as wrinkly as they would be if I just folded them and put them in the suitcase. It also gives me a lot more space to bring more clothes then I need, as well as shoes, bath kit, etc. lol :)

I’ve never heard of someone packing this way, but I definitely think it’s super helpful! I love the idea. I do have a question though, would you do it the same way if you were going for a longer trip? Would it all fit in the garment bag? =/

oh how i pack. put a shirt in for every day i’ll be gone with 2 extras (accidents happen and you never know when you’ll be able to wash your clothes while you’re away) i wear my jeans twice before washing them so they don’t fade so say i was going some where for 5 days i’d pack 4 pairs of jeans (fourth pair is my just in case pair) then just in case of some unplanned event where you need to look nice i put in a dress. Shoes: Flats, Heels, Converse. And packing is done. :)
