Today’s look comes from the Madrid premiere of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo with a halter gown from Rodarte’s Fall 2011 collection. Rooney’s gown is beautiful black dotted, off-white silk chiffonâ”a great change from the black hues Mara’s recently used to promote the film. The bunched, crisscross detailing at the top is a perfect touch to a simple gown. The black bow above the waistline is the ideal way to accentuate Rooney’s slim figure. Moving to the bottom of the gown, the train gives an otherwise petite Mara, length and the illusion of a tall stature. As for Rooney’s accessories, once again she opted for no jewelry and let the elegance of the gown speak for itself.
