After a long two year battle with cancer, Briana Menendez is remembered for her honor, courage, faith and strength that she carried throughout her battle. As the coveted 68th Honorary United States Marine, Briana’s legacy still stands strong and will continue to be carried out by her beloved parents, Sgt Larry & Stephanie Menendez along with her ever so loving big sister Ashley Menendez.

This has moved me to tears. I lost my dad in May to brain cancer so it brings back memories. I am so glad that this little girl was able to live out her dreams and goals at such a young age. It saddens me to see her leave this earth so young:( I will pray for her parents peace.

Wow….so beautiful. I pray for a cure, I’ve lost several family members to this beast. And, I hope to live to see the day when they find a cure for this horrible disease. Thanks for sharing here story…
