if your hair is light, and you’re trying to get it darker, your hair is porous, so it won’t take the dye (it will always fade). you’ll need a filler/protein treatments.

if your hair is dark but already dyed, you’ll need to lighten it with a color remover (no damage) or bleach (not recommended/very damaging), then either tone or apply color of choice.

if your hair is virgin and dark you need to bleach it first, then apply color of choice/or toner

I went from brunnet to golden, then golden to auburn! Haha thats a pretty crazy hair colouring;D

If you do get hair color on your skin,I have taken it off with rubbing alcohol. May not work for all but it does for me

@133anne Sorry, but my stylist has worked for Bumble and Bumble and likely knows better than you do. If you were to lighten your hair with it and get the colour removed via a box or at a hair salon, a good amount of your hair can fall out and basically dissolve. Many boxed lighteners can do this, but L’Oreal’s the worst.
And as you said, you have very strong hair, so this may not apply to you. Derrr. Please never breed. You don’t sound very bright.
